May 9, 20188 yr Reds win it in 10, 2-1. Duvall with the walk-off HR. I'm sure that'll earn him a spot in the lineup for the next 100 games. I can't say that he'll be in the lineup for the next 100 games, but he will be on the roster because of it. With Meso gone, there's simply no one that can come off the bench with that type of threat. Goesslin and Pennington didn't have it. Neither does Blandino, Ervin, Herrera, Cruz...nobody else does. You can say what you will about his RBI's (and you'd be right) over the past 2 years. But, you can't take away the home runs.
May 9, 20188 yr Wow. Mets just batted out of order. Cabrera ruled out after hitting a 2-out double. I don't think I've ever seen that at the major league level. Can't say Ive seen it in 6 years of working. Hard to believe that could still happy at the Major League level.
