I bought a new truck like a year after graduating college. I for sure regretted buying it for like a year but a little luck/hardwork thankfully changed some things since then and I no longer regret the purchase and am happy with it. But going forward I don't think I will ever buy a new car/truck.

 

Used is the way to go! I made the same mistake you did.

Partial ownership (5 couples) on a used pontoon. Owned it 2 summers and it cost approximately $100 a night to run on the Ohio River, not including gas, storage or insurance. Group sold it for a huge loss.
