Kansas considers making schools liable for not arming staff

I can't agree with that. There's always a choice. If KY would ever make it so all schools allowed teachers to carry, we'd have the option to home-school.

I think more families need to be looking at home-school options, charter schools if they commit to being hard targets, and online schooling options.

How would charter schools be any different that public schools on this?

I am NOT an expert on Charter Schools but aren't they Independent in many ways? And if so I assume they could make a much bigger commitment to school safety instead of playing a bunch of silly games which is all I see from most of the powers that be.

I am guessing more amenable to what the clients demand and if safety is a priority of the parents then the charter school can respond a lot more quickly and with less outside input.
