This game is a tossup but I believe that Tates Creek has a little bit more speed than Woodford.

Willoughby will have his kids ready for this one. Tates Creek is a solid football team that is well coached. Big win to put them in the playoffs!

I give the edge to Woodford County. They have an experienced quarterback who can effectively throw the football. Tates Creek has an inexperienced quarterback and the Creekers have shown they have no ability to keep teams from putting 9 in the box.

 

However, the game is at Tates Creek and the Commodores have a outstanding running back in Ty Sparks.

I don't think anyone will know anything until game day. However, I think Creek has a pretty good backup. I think Sparks will pull through.

Creek's offense has to be sputtering with losing their QB, Center, and a quality RB like Sparks.

Ty injured his ankle against Station, and as of today, it's not likely that he will play, however if he responds to treatment today and can practice wednesday, there is still a slight chance he could play.

 

As for TC's backup he has less than 20 carries this year and in his 4 carries last week, he fumbled once. If Ty doesn't play TC's only chance is getting their new QB Rozell James to the edge, he is extremely fast and his body is very mature for a sophomore.

A quick, speed back like Sparks will be rendered ineffective with an ankle sprain. Too many stops and starts and cuts.
