MTSU coach Kermit Savis names the new coach for Ole Miss.

I think he could have been better.

I think he could have been better.

I thought so as well tough place to recruit and win I think.

Hopefully his team packs it in Sunday.

Kermit Davis is a class act. He will be missed in Murfreesboro/Middle Tennessee State.

Isn't his now former (lol) team playing UofL Sunday? Who coaches?

Headline today in the Murfreesboro newspaper:

Kermit Davis: Ole Miss basketball coach to stick with MTSU through NIT

For sure think he was better off staying at MTSU. He likely will only make it a few seasons at Ole Miss before being canned. Hard place to win. Money talks, though. He will be getting paid a lot more.

Kermit also noted in an interview the other day that a reason he is leaving is that he can do half as good as MTSU has the last few years and still get at-large births at Ole Miss. I suppose the frustration of getting snubbed this year really took an emotional toll on him.
