GRC earned this victory. The coach has always treated players on the other teams with a great deal of respect. He is a class act. I thought the action of keeping his team out at halftime last night until a GRC legend was introduced into the 10th region HOF was an additional example of his class and teaching good lessons. It will be easy to root for this team at state.

Thanks so much for sharing this. Coach Graham is a wonderful person and coach. He teaches his girls not just basketball but respect of others and other lessons of life. I wondered why they had not gone to the locker room and then I understood why. As you said just another example of teaching not just the X and O's. We are so proud that he is our coach.

He is an amazing coach and human being. I am thankful to have had a child play for him and teach the game as well as life.

Two members of the 2018 10th Region Champions, Trinity Gay and Cameron Anderson, happen to be 3rd-generation teammates who have/will participate in the Sweet 16 state tournament. Trinity’s dad, Dwain Gay (#20), and Cameron’s dad, Steve Anderson (#50), were teammates on the 1986 10th Region championship team. And their grandfathers, Larry Gay (#20) and Mike Poer (#10), were teammates on the 1968 10th Region championship team.
