Crazy ending last night. When Stanley made the lay up for Walton to take the lead, the clock showed 1.5 seconds. Referees changed it to 2.8 seconds. After watching the game ending this morning, it appears the clock didn't start on time and Simon Kenton got approximately 4.2 seconds to get a shot off. Had they made the shot, and the referees hadn't noticed the time delay, but several cameras had it on film, I wonder how they would have handled that? I am assuming the Pioneers would have won, because they can't use a camera and the referees didn't appear to notice. Would have been crazy!!

Congratulations to the Bearcats and the Pioneers. Great game and great atmosphere. Zach Kelch had a fantastic game.

Seriously, Kelch 18pts 16 boards...he dominated inside.

seriously wvbballfan.....Kelch 18pts, 16 boards, Kelch dominated inside.

Is there sarcasm in this thread? If Kelch had 18 and 16 then the post defense wasn't good.

Also bad shooting or good defense.....guess it depends on the lens you see it from

It was good defense.

Losing Robinson is going to hurt SK.

That is going to be a big challenge for Trent Steiner's squad. I'm not sure a lot of people realize how important he's become to that team, particularly over the second half of the season.

Still, SK has enough horses to challenge for the 8th title. They've played toe to toe with all the contenders this year.

You gotta love what Walton continues to do - win. This team seemed to take on a "tournament attitude" in December when Miles went out. And to date, they seemed to have maintained it.

Survive and advance. "Pretty" counts for zero points.
