Who would doubt a 5a school playing in 2a?

I would'nt either....

I'm thinking Jaggers is keeping the passing game under wraps so not to expose it on game film for any future opponents, then roll it out when it's neccessary. Could be a risky move, but it could turn out to be a smart one as well. We'll find out the first time they trail by more than a touchdown.

This is what I believe is going on. Cause they do work on their passing game alot in practice. I know it's just practice but, what defense would be better to practice against? They have 3 very capable qb's.

Now THAT is funny right there, I don't care who you are...:jump: :jump:

Oh....wait....sorry....forgot.....already been posted....about a trillion times.:irked:

Sorry buddy...no 5A teams this year. Go back and brush up on the previous thousand or so discussions on this issue.:sssh:

That could be... here's my take on it.

I don't think Coach worries about his passing game. I think what he is concentrating on mostly is his line play. Believe it or not, with all the impressive numbers, Mercer has still not executed the run game to his satisfaction. They are getting close, but until they do, that is what he will concentrate on leveling up in my opinion. Which by the way means very little...:D

What district in AA is challenging?

Answer, really none. So let's add two more classes and countless more districts for next year. That's a good solution.

Mercer is in a no win situation .... If they win , they beat up some smaller school. This all ends when the playoffs start .... When playoffs start , Mercer needs to put the hammer down and use each game to prepare for the next...

Likely they are already doing this .... Go Luck Mercer so much said about you folks this year , hope we get to play ... Bring the Scottie ....

Good luck to you guys too. Later in the playoffs we will be facing teams with as many players as we have. You can only put 11 guys on the field at once.

What kind of colleges have been looking at #2 and #13 for Mercer County???

Thumping Lloyd and beating Newport makes Mercer for real. Both these opponents are not county schools who cannot get anyone out for football. Lloyd should be more consistent but they for sure have some kids that can play....

I havent really heard. I'm sure someone else can help you out with this. They are undersized so I'm not for sure. I believe if they were a couple inches taller and about 25 pounds heavier then I think they would both be D1. But, I'm not saying they arent. They both are very dangerous.

There are several others that I am sure are getting a look or two in addition to Cory Jackson and Brandon Ford - Sunshine Walker #32, Chris Lewis #82, Freeman Edwards #12 just to name a few. This is a talented group of Seniors.

Funny, I can't remember a time that Mercer County was ranked as high as they are in 2a or beating these teams like they are now. Does that have something to do with the merger? We will see what Mercer is made of next year when they play schools of equal size. Funny to me.

The merger is the biggest reason of course. When you add the speed and athletes that harodsburg brought to the table then it's very easy to see why they are so much better. Last years Mercer team wasnt too shabby and had alot back from that team. Take away the top 3 to 5 teams in the state and I would say that Mercer can play with anybody. That's just the way I feel. And, I'm not trying to be funny.
