February 4, 20188 yr Dude that's all LeBron has done his whole career even before the Warriors team. It was always I don't have enough around me. However I could get in a huge debate on LeBron, because I think even though he is the greatest in the world. The style of play and offense he needs a team to run for him to be great, doesn't necessarily help get other players to be at their best and in a rhythm as others. Howveer that's a whole other debate. Brady his whole career has basically played with arguably the least amount of talent around him offensively and he still does great and wins championships. What's crazy is the most offensive talent he had around him was the years they lost the super bowls lol. But it’s true. He never has had enough around him. If Poppovich coached Lebron then the Brady/ Lebron comparison would be accurate.
February 4, 20188 yr Brady also doesn’t have the greatest team ever constructed to go against. Imagine if Brady had to go against Peyton Manning with the Steelers offensive weapons mixed with the ‘85 Bears Defense. Brady wouldn’t have 5 rings. Against the 85 Bears, Marino spread them out, and torched them. They were not schematically put together to play against a spread. Brady would have a field day. Manning? Belichick owned him. At Brass tack time, he became predictable, in the playoffs that meant interceptions and 1st round losses.

Take whatever you feel is the greatest defense of all time and substitute them for the 85 Bears. The point I was trying to make is the Warriors revolutionize the offense in the NBA and have 2/3 of the best scorers in the league and the greatest defense. You completely missed the point I was trying to make.
February 4, 20188 yr But it’s true. He never has had enough around him. If Poppovich coached Lebron then the Brady/ Lebron comparison would be accurate. Nope because with Pop his teams play as a team. For LeBron there is basically only one offense he can play in that allows him to be dominant. That is isolation bball where he dominates the ball. He doesn't do good with a true lost player bevause it crowds the lane. He is not at his best with an offense that has lots of movement because that also crowds the lane. He is not good off the ball. As we seen his first finals with Miami when Wade had the hot hand and James disappeared. James is dominant when he dominated the ball and shooters spread out not moving but just waiting for a pass in case people collapse on him. Problem with that as we seen is other good players never get in a rhythm if just standing and watching and only can catch and shoot. Which is why teams who actually move on offense and all that. Always seem to have more guys who help. Which is why teams like the Warriors and Spurs usually do well against LeBron. Their offenses allows all their players to get in a rhythm because they are constantly moving and touching the ball. While LeBron needs isolation ball to truly be his dominant self. That's why Durant fit in a lot better than James ever would have. Durant can play isolation ball, he can spot up, and he can move around in the flow of the offense. However this is a football thread. So I guess we can continue this in a NBA thread lol

Haha I'm not going to argue about Lebron because if anyone doesn't see that he's the best player in the league and the greatest ever behind MJ then there is no need.

Haha I'm not going to argue about Lebron because if anyone doesn't see that he's the best player in the league and the greatest ever behind MJ then there is no need. I never once said he wasn't the best player in the league. However the style he always has wanted to play, to allow him to be the best player on earth. Is not a style that truly allows other players to get in a rhythm. It's truly isolation basketball and standing around. Which yes LeBron creates shots for others, but that style doesn't truly allow other top players to get in a rhythm. There is no real flow with his offenses. He is so good though that he himself carries the team. My point is his style he needs to play doesn't necessarily allow other top players to get in a rhythm. Which then always leads to the whole LeBron needs more help.
February 5, 20188 yr But back to this thread. Tom Brady once again did more with less in the Super Bowl even though they came up short.
