I wouldn't call that "calling out the play calling." He was very professional in the interview and when asked what he thought they needed to do he gave his opinion. He also said that he thinks the Bengals should dictate and be the aggressor and not allow the defense to dictate the play calling.

No not at all. What makes you think that? Im talking his last statement compaired to what T.O's was. He was very calm and let them know how he felt.

That was one time, don't act like he has a horrible history with the Bengals. they asked him how he felt and he told them. He could have went about it another way and made a big deal out of it but he didn't

All the trouble he's been in and the negative attention he's brought. Chad's a winner. Chad has shut his mouth the entire season and not complained about getting the touches that he should. That's classy. He has had on field bouts of frustration in the past. EVERY football player has. Chad is in the spotlight so when he does it it's microscoped more than ever.

 

They asked him what was wrong this year compared to last year. He told them the truth. He didn't make excuses. He didn't dance around the question. This isn't politics this is football. IMO the Bengals offense has been stagnant because they aren't throwing down field. Chad gets double covered a lot. He isn't an underneath reciever. Throw it up and let him go get it. Every time we've done it has either been successful or incomplete. It hasn't come back to hurt us once. THe TD to TJ against the Steelers was a "throw it up and let the reciever make a play" pass. It worked. When the Bengals stretch the field they are successful. When they don't they lose to Tampa Bay and New England back to back with horrible offensive games.

Sounds like he's also calling out Palmer as well.

It kinda does seem that way but I don't think those 2 are on the same page yet. There have been a few times 1 or the other did something wrong. He's frustrated and he should be. I'm glad he is, if he wasn't then we wouldn't care about winning and losing.

Don't get me wrong. I understand that he is frustrated. I understand that he thinks enough passes aren't coming his way.

 

HOWEVA

 

You don't call out the playcalling and you DON'T call out your quarterback in public, no matter how subtle it was. Is he yelling at the OC on the sidelines like TO? No. Is he being loud about it? No. However, it's still the same thing no matter what approach is taken.

 

Address the problems behind closed doors and shut your trap. He should have known better than to let the media bait him like that.
