October 19, 200619 yr He's a Southern Cal homer!! Actually if you listen he's not. He loves Oregon and anybody from the SEC. Also can't stand Oklahoma and their fans. Its truly hilarious when he gets going on Oklahoma. You can't miss the Beano Cook segments either! :thumb:

When SC trashed them in the title game a couple years ago, Cowherd was in classic form ripping the Sooners and the Big 12 in general. I loved it.
October 19, 200619 yr The Herd is by far the best show on ESPN Radio... As for his top 12, I thought it was well done. He doesn't look at wins and losses, and sometimes not even head-to-head on someone else's field. I wish more people would vote like that. Is Florida better than Auburn? I think so even though they lost to them. I'm surprised he had WVU and USC that high to be honest. Cal is better than both of them. How can you be suprised that WVU is that high... they have the best rushing offense in the nation, they are undefeated and the have the same team back that beat the SEC's Georgia team last year in their bowl game. And to say Cal is better than them?... Do you remember ealier in the year when Tenn spanked Cal. Cal plays in the Pac-10 which I consider the weakest major conference in college football.

The Pac-10 is at worst the 4th best conference. No way is the Big East and Big 12 better.

One game need not make a season! :thumb: I would absolutely love to see a Cal-UT rematch in a BCS bowl on a neutral field. Possibility if they both win out. Georgia has proved to be a strong program this year... WVU won't even beat UofL.
October 21, 200619 yr I am a HUGE Notre Dame fan and Brady Quinn fan, but I am not so sure he will be the first QB taken. I think he should be because I think he will have a very good career in the NFL and has all the tools. But don't disregard Troy Smith that easily. Look at his numbers and who he is playing for. He creates plays most college QB's can't dream about making because of his unreal athleticism from the QB slot. He has a cannon for an arm and is very very accurate. I am not so sure the Oakland Raiders wouldn't want him rolling out of the pocket and bombing it to Randy Moss (ala Troy Smith, Ted Ginn)... think about it
