Danville's D'Mauriae VanCleave Adds Offer

Featured Replies

Congrats to Vancleve, I think bigger offers are coming. He can’t get out of Danville fast enough for me! ;)

If I am EKU, Murray State, or WKU and I have an extra scholarship open around signing day I am taking a chance on this kid regardless of size.

If nothing else you add a dynamic Special Teams player who could be the Mid-Major or FCS version of Ryan Switzer. There is also a chance his skills translate as a slot receiver as well.

Did Van Cleave not go to any of the football camps in the summer to be seen by coaches? I ask because it confuses the hell out of me that he doesn’t have more offers to choose from. This kid is a phenomenal athlete, dare I say elite athlete, and my amateur eyes see him as a D-1 type of talent. The only thing I can think is that he didn’t have opportunities to be seen by the right coaches at the right time. He can play at the next level for sure. I feel like he should have way more choices. He deserves them!!!

I know he went to one at Pikeville and one at UK.
