After looking at the stats, it proves out the saying "Individual stats don't win championships".

 

There doesn't seem to be many stat leaders from the top ranked teams on the list.

Doesn't look like Scott High reported their stats. Clephane averaging over 30 not on the list.

At the bottom of the website there is a list of all the schools that provided stats, Scott HS is not on the list.

 

Since reporting stats is a KHSAA requirement (or get fined). I really don’t understand why schools just don’t report them.

Teams that have balance and depth are always going to be ranked higher than teams that must rely on individual high stat players.

Gibson is at 29.9 right now. Had a 14 point game this week that brought her average down a little. She sees a lot of box and chasers, double teams, etc. But she’s a scoring machine when she’s rolling. Has over 2500 points in her career so far.
