Mayfield gets a ugly win, turnover central for the Cards. Mayfield was not ready to play or so it seemed. Cards Coach Morris said of the win after the game "We stunk, we got the win and that is about all good that can be said. Give Murray credit they came ready to play and we didnt". 7-0 Mayfield at the half, 4 first half turnovers were crucial. Murray never mounted any scoring threats they entire game but Mayfield looked like they were still on spring break

Final

Mayfield played a very sloppy game and still came away with the win.

I just can't wait for undefeated Fulton City next week

The game tonight with Murray might have been the cleanest game I have ever seen between Murray and Mayfield. Good sportsmanship by everyone. There were no unsportsmanlike calls tonight on either team.

Good to get these out of your system during the regular season.

You guys killed me in the pick 4 contest............:irked:

I was actually impressed with what I saw of the return of Andy Trevarthen tonight, he looked extrememly fast to me. I know he hasn't played all season but he looked like he has been. I don't know what the deal is with Tyrese Murrell and holding on to the ball, the hits he was taking didn't appear to be the kind that knock the ball loose, maybe he just needs to gain some strength. He did redeem himself with two interceptions, he seems to have a knack for coming back with big defensive plays.
