Miles 6'10 from Walton-Vernon is the best big in Ky!

Run the floor great, and is a better defender, and all around better athlete. Imo! Unfortunately hes out 2 to 4 weeks with a shoulder injury.

Michael Mereno may not be as big as these kids but, he does play the post so therefore he has to be mentioned. The kid had 40 and 12 on Omar Keita and 18 and 18 at Ballard. He has the best overall skill set of the kids listed.

The only two I've seen are Kelch and Miles. Also I'm not sold on Miles being 6'10. Miles is extremely raw and has great athleticism. Kelch is much more refined on both sides of the ball. Miles has more upside, but I believe Kelch is a better player.

Isaiah Cozart is a Junior, has offers from EKU, NKU, Morehead, Belmont and Winthrop. Has a few Big 10 schools looking at him as well.

 

Some of the others are probably offensively better, he is still improving in that area and doing so at a pretty good clip, but on the defensive end there are none better. I think the kid form Sheldon Clark will be as good by the time he graduates. His ability and timing at the defensive end is the best there is in the state at the moment. Fun to watch and a really great kid to boot.

He will be interesting to follow. Looks raw offensively but he has nice potential.

6' 7-8" he has a 7' 3" wing span. I agree, not a true big in college unless he grows, and I understand that is still a possibility.

 

His offensive game is defiantly improving, but still not a great treat from outside of 10 feet. Kid works hard and is still growing into his size so I expect that to get much better thru the year and into next.

Agree but he’s a 3 not a post player by definition.

Dieonte Miles has the most upside. He is over 6'10 now, & is projected to be over 7' with over a 7'3" wingspan. He & Cozart both played for Louisville Magic last summer, but Miles got moved up to 17U to play the 5 & 4 positions. His defensive game is as good as Cozart, but the big separation is offensively. Miles can play in the interior, come out to the short corner, or step out and hit the wide open three-pointer. What separates him from Walter and Kelch is his improving exterior skills and agility and speed getting up and down the floor. Currently his biggest weakness is he needs to gain weight and strength, which has improved & will occur once he goes to college. He also needs to gain experience and stay healthy. He only turned 16 in August and is still maturing physically. Colleges who have reached out are West Virginia, Wake Forest, Virginia Commonwealth, and NKU among others. Moreno will need to play the three at a high-level college, but nice player. Haven't seen James.

Walter is a legit 7 foot. Very young for a senior, only 16. Xavier will develop him I am sure.
