He's not that good, as in he's not close to one of the best players in his own class in NKY.

He is a good ball player but not enough to get this much talk about him. He will have a nice career at Newport since they dont have much but nothing special.

 

I agree he's not that good to receive this much talk about him. But Newport does have another good freshmen class in basketball this year. The Tucker kid is good and there's a few more in that group. Perhaps when this group and the group before them are juniors and seniors Newport could have a run of it all.

I say let the season speak for itself. He already is making noise as a Frosh on the football team. I don't see any othe Freshman doing that. But lets wait and see how he plays this season before we make him all American... I agree.

I seen him play over the summer at the KBA. ( granted only once ) but he seemed like your typical athlete without a whole lot of skill. He's a good athlete but needs to develop his game quite a bit.

Seen him play quite abit and he needs to work on his development but from what I've been told he doesn't work as hard as he should. Who knows maybe he'll mature and realize it's not given to you -- you have to work hard.
