Dunbar will have to find a way to match up with Jeter, Boyd, and Minnifield if they want to have a shot in this one. HC's passing game will probably be the downfall of PLD.

I'll go with HC 31-21.

Sad to see Dunbar down this bad this season. Could it be that the O-coordinator is putting a lot in or are they just young?

They have some young players. TO's earlier in the year and giving games away in District play. They are better than their record.

Why is Dunbar so bad when they have so much talent?

HC wins and makes way to possible state title game

Semi-final game is more realistic for the Devils this year.

PLD has some of the best linemen in the state, a great RB a solid QB, solid REC, good lb's, db's...... I think they are the most talented 0-8 team I have ever seen....

A tough schedule (non-district: MBA, Madison Central, PRP, and Ryle) mixed with youth and injuries will cause a team to have some problems.

Also, the Lexington 4A district is having a really good year with the exception of Bryan Station and PLD. Henry Clay and Lafayette are undefeated, Tates Creek lost to HC and Lafayette, Scott County lost to Lex Cath and Henry Clay, and Woodford County is solid as well.

Most of the talent is in the younger classes.

That is excusses 0-8 is unacceptable for the largest public school in the state.

Don't kill the messenger, I was just stating the facts.

I am completely neutral about Dunbar and am not trying to make excuses either way for them.

was not getting on you, just stating a fact also.

I just think there is more to being 0-8 than just having a young class.

PLD is much better now that Green is healthy, however, the system that Dunbar is running is way outdated, it smacks of Tates Creek (not that that is a bad thing, you just have to have the talent to run that system), PLD is a decent team, they just hit a down year in an up year for district 7 in 4A.
