I know we are in the middle of fall breaks across Kentucky, with some schools out this week, some the next, and others missing a few days (Jefferson County). How do you approach scheduling for fall break? Do you try to make it your open week? Do you practice the same as when the kids are in school? Are there positives to the break? Negatives?

 

I know that's a lot of questions but I'm hoping for several answers. Anxious to hear your thoughts and opinions.

Prefer to have it open. This week Male plays Station at home Friday night. JCPS has no school Friday but Lexington does. Likely won't have much in attendance. Also, no school Monday and Tuesday with the biggest game vs. X on Friday.

also, UofL plays thursday for all the JCPS schools playing on thursday

Everyone in our region is in the same county so we're all off from school and we have our second bye week then. We'll practice Thursday night, Friday morning, Saturday morning. It's the only way to go if you can. I've been at a place before where we had a week off and a game. It stinks. So many kids try to get out of practice and some even the game. And the gate is awful.
