Dixie Heights 34 Cooper 20

Lime to know how many plays Rice for Dixie was on the field. Watched him vs SK and seems like he played almost all special teams O and D.

I agree 2 turnovers on kickoffs, 1 interception returned for TD. RB ran well, yet QB ran more & backwards for negative yrds...yet he's a freshman lots to learn...very athletic kid w/ a bright future. 2 jr receivers that played varsity mins last yr & did a nice job not getting enough touches along w / sophmore RB needing more carries. Fact remains Dixie isn't in top 10 n.ky & beat jags by 16 pts. Jags are young, yet not sure future is bright w/ JV & Freshman jags struggling also. Jags 0-6 & Dixie was a possible win for them.... Next 4 games...hoping Jags can @ least pull out 1 win. Borchers has now tried 3 QB's, switched lots players/positions & still 0-6.

You keep talking up these Jr receivers yet they had a really bad game last night. Armour had 4 fumbles and Perry dropped 5-6 passes or more. The interception was because Perry pulled up on the route instead of running it through because the linebacker was pressing him. The QB threw it where he was to be but only he didn't try to get there.

And both those guys were the ones getting burned on defense while at corner and safety on the end around plays for touchdowns.

I will say this for Lee at QB - he does have elusiveness and can throw a good ball. He has an arm and looks to be putting it in the right spots most of the time. He has a lot of learning to do and hopefully a growth spurt or two to come but he has some talent.

Hopefully they will start putting in more quick passes so the defense has to back off instead of just keying on the QB.

If only there were some WRs that could catch the ball.... Blazing speed means nothing if the ball bounces off your hands everytime.

6 drops and 4 fumbles ? Are you sure you were at the game. Seems a little extreme after viewing HUDL myself. Might want to check your stats.

Cooperdad what game were you watching! I watched the film on Hudl and Perry didn't let up the pass was well in front of him and far as dropped passes Perry wasn't even thrown to 6 times maybe your son is a sophomore or senior and can't crack the lineup. As far as defense goes I thought Cooper played well. I see that Cooper needs to get better in all phases of the game. To blame Armour and Perry your out of your mind.

Watch Hudl again. I never said he lost the ball to Dixie each time but he did put the ball on the ground 4 times. My point was he had a rough day too.

As to Perry, yep 5 passes dropped. And as to the interception - ask him why he got pointed out in game tape review by the coach for pulling up then?

And just to be clear, my son is a starter and played the whole game. But that isn't the point. The point was that after every game Sports4life comes on here saying how bad Borchers is cause he didn't get Perry passes and features Lee - but the passes have to be caught.

Yes passes have to be caught line has to give more time for receivers to get open backs have to block better we need to improve in every area. As far as sports4 life I don’t know what that person has so many issues with sounds like it’s personal with Borchers. Yes my son plays the whole game two and to keep putting kids names on here doesn’t do them any good. We could list every single player on Cooper that didn’t do their job Friday night and to single out Aurmour and Perry isn’t fair to them. Sports4life needs to quit talking about certain players and calling coach Borchers out.

Also I know for a fact that it isn’t Armour and Perry’s dads that are putting their name out there for more touches it’s SPORTS4LIFE and it needs to stop and furthermore you shouldn’t have singles them out either!!!! Both kids come from Good family’s and are GREAT kids!!!!

Anyone who has ever played a competitive sport, especially football knows that the true character of a team is how they respond to adversity. What do you do when things are not going well? Do you embrace the challenges, self reflect, uplift your team mates and dig deeper or do you doubt and look for someone to blame and excuses? Tough times build character and should drive you to work harder and hopefully smarter! Encourage the players and the staff, even if you disagree. The team is bigger that any coach or single player. Stay in your lane and do your job. If coaches coach and players play, success will come. Enjoy the journey and grow from each challenge! I expect these coaches and players to go out and compete every game for 4 quarters. There was much better attitude and effort against Dixie inspite of some crucial turnovers. No time for chumps, compete like a champ everytime you are given the opportunity! Heads up and strap up Jags...Invictus!
