Caldwell Co. 14 Ft. Campbell 13

GO TIGERS!!! :thumb:

Sounds like a very good game and it was decided by one missed extra point!!!

I cant get over Caldwell runnng the table after such a bad start to the season, what a turn around

An unbelievable game.

Caldwell converts a 4th-and-15 on game-winning drive. Rodney Bell scores on a 9-yard run with 5:05 to play and Jake Pepper kicks the game-winning PAT.

Ft. Campbell, which led 13-7 at half, had the ball twice near midfield in the closing moments, but the Caldwell defense held.

Bell scored Caldwell's other touchdown on a 34-yard run early in the first quarter.

Ft. Campbell was held to 36 rushing yards but put the ball in the air 38 times.

Key stat: Turnovers. Ft. Campbell gave it away 4 times. Caldwell had zero. One of Ft. Campbell's turnovers came on a fumble at the Caldwell 1 late in the first half.

The Tigers must be living right...

They keep racking up the big wins. For someone more familiar with them than I, how do they figure into the top-10 mix?

Losing C.J. Croft for the season really hurts Fort Campbell's ground game. I wonder if there has ever been a FC team that threw the ball 38 times in a game before. Solid win for Caldwell County. If the cards fall the right way, they could see Fort Campbell in the playoffs in the first round in Princeton.

Caldwell is playing well and have had some breaks go there way...I've only seen them once and that was against Mayfield in the season opening Bowl game and they didn't look great then, but Mayfield had alot to do with that...At this point though, I definately feel they deserve to be in the top 10, probably in the 7-10 range, but, no higher right now...

Is the West just really down this year or does Caldwell actually have a legit chance to dethrone the Belfry's, Russell's, and the reast of the East?

In my opinion, there are no dominant teams in rgn1 this year..there's 4 good teams that could play each other 10 times and probabaly split..One of these 4 will most likely come out of the rgn-OCath,Caldwell,Trigg or Ft Campbell, but, then theres several other teams who could, on a given night, knock any of these 4 off, but, I'd put them on a little lower level- Heath, Lone Oak, Webster, Monroe and Edmonson...i don't think any of these could regularly beat the russells, mercers or westerns out there, but, on a given night, you never know...
