I spoke too soon in the update thread. Once I started watching Tates Creek they had it going on.

 

Additionally, Creek has phenomenal looking uniforms!

Tates Creek will a good test for Frederick Douglass home opener next week.

Being I did not pay attention to the last thread on this game, I am reposting this.

I just watched this one and here are my thoughts, not that they amount to much.

 

#10 For Tates Creek looked very good. He seem to throw a nice ball and looked to have made the smart choice by not throwing the ball into coverage.

#6 For Tates Creek is a stud.

#42, I believe an outside linebacker looked like heis going to have a good season.

#92 Has a powerful leg on kickoffs.

Tates Creek seems to have a offense that can both run and throw the ball effectively

 

 

Henry Clay, I believe used five different QB'S.During the broadcast it was said their would be returning QB quit the team? This had to kill their offense in a gigantic way.

I did like #7, a tight end. If they can find a QB, who can get him the ball, he could have a big season.

Two lineman, who looked to give it all they had #66 #76. Both have size and played well enough, that other teams will have to take notice of them. #9 could be the leader in the secondary, but that alone won't be enough to stop teams from going pass happy against the defense.

I can tell you what killed their offense. Giving your senior QB and offense a vote of no confidence on Monday after Friday scrimmage against Central Hardin. They changed the offense 4 days before the 1st game to a Wildcat option after you had practiced a different offense for 3 months and played really well in UK 7 on 7 passing tournament.

 

Henry Clay had controlled scrimmage (10 plays on, 10 plays off - no score) against Central Hardin and neither varsity team scored. Both teams moved the ball, but neither put it in the end zone. I guess that freaked out the coaches?

 

Coaching staff sat senior passing QB for running sophomore QB who had never started varsity game before. The results speak for themselves. Offense looked like it had prepared for 4 days.

 

92-0 against Tates Creek the past 2 years is simply unacceptable.
