With SK's propensity to play soft defense, the 6A Pioneers' big boys could be in an offensive shoot-out against the 1A Tigers. Big injury risk by Tigers of continually playing up against larger, quality programs. Great playoff prep if they come away injury free. BW must have toughest 1A non-district schedule in state.

Chatard has won state 13 state championships (1983, 1984, 1997, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2015).

 

The Indiana 3A polls haven't come out yet, but I'm guessing the Trojans will be in the top 4. Chartard will also play Columbus (OH) DeSales, so those two schools and CovCath will play a mini round robin.

 

CalPreps had Chatard's 2016 season final ranking at 34.3. For comparison, CovCath's 2016 final ranking was 34.0.
