Sure those are good players, but they are not going to be there forever. Top quaility players come from this state in cycles.

The difference is we are keeping some of them instate now.

I don't see it that way. Louisville has been very successful at home. Everyone knows that the big boys of college football will do anything they can to avoid playing a competative team on the road.

Like USC, Michigan, Penn State, UCLA & Tennessee. I'll admit that they caught Tenn and UCLA on a downward spiral, but those schools are consistently pretty good and Notre Dame usually schedules pretty well in advance. A home and home with Oklahoma will be added on future schedules.

One of the 3 Beast schools will be Pitt, I believe Notre Dame is scheudled to play them from 2008 til 2015. Notre Dame is supposed to play a home and home series with all of the Big East schools starting in 2009. By 2011 they will play 3 Big East teams per year, one home, one away, and one in the Meadowlands.

Did any of those guys play at UL? Just because you can name good players that have came from Kentucky, doesnt mean you can just decide that you "want to keep them in state" all of a sudden. Sure, some of them would stay, but you have to remember if UL were in the SEC, every other school in the conference would be after those kids also. This whole discussion is pointless however, because UL is not in the SEC nor do I ever see it happening.
