August 4, 20179 yr Russell had one thing going for him in my opinion, he was really the first player to go looking for idols instead of waiting on the clues. He was great at that and seemed like a genius, then we see Tai able to do the same thing. Russell could have won his season but he played stupidly when it mattered most and alienated everyone. He's not in my top 10 either.
August 4, 20179 yr People really watch this stuff? :isurrender: :lol2: I've NEVER watched a SECOND of any Reality show.
August 4, 20179 yr Richard Hatch would have to go on any Surivior Rushmore. He was the one who figured out alliances were the way to win the game then turned Sue against Kelly, who would have won the first season if not for his strategy
August 5, 20179 yr I kind of shudder when I see Boston Rob mentioned. It took him 4 tries to finally win and that was with a bunch of star struck newbies. Granted he led them around by the noses masterfully but it took him 3 previous tries to learn how to screw people over and have them be OK with it. Also agree about Russell not belonging. Like it or not Survivor is a social game. Russell had no clue about that. The first time he played he just bullied his way to the end, the second time when he played against other returnees they hadn't seen his season so they had no clue about him. When he played the 3rd time those people knew his game and got rid of him first.
