Because I think Bama will lose to FSU to start the year, will struggle a bit getting accustomed to a new OC after that, and then the Bama faithful will start calling for Tagovailoa because he's probably better anyways.

Jalen will settle down. The OC is more suited to settling him down. The biggest question is the health of Shaun Dion Hamilton....if he's healthy Bama wins the SEC again.

Bama is going to win the SEC.... with a 10-2 record. Nobody was calling for Bama to struggle these past 2 years because they had a ton of returning starters. These lose a ton of returning starters and their first game is against a team who returns everybody. They have Nick Saban so who knows, but I'm taking FSU, better QB, better running game, better O line, and at this point a better defense considering we have no idea what Bama has on defense now.

Also Clemson will lose at least 3, maybe 4 games. WAY overrated.

 

I definitely think they're too high. Won 7 games last year by a touchdown or less. That's tough to keep rolling into the next season, especially after losing Watson.

Louisville has lost to them by less than a touchdown in each of their meetings since joining the league in 2014. It's going to be really easy to start drawing some parallels between Week 3 in Louisville last year vs. Florida State and this year against the Tigers.

 

Still genuinely concerned about Louisville's offensive line and we'll see what the defense puts together early in the season under a new coordinator. I'm worried, but that's sort of what I do when it comes to Louisville football.

Bama broke in 3 new qb's in 3 consecutive years....they were questioned each year. BTW a 10-2 (with a loss to FSU) record an an SEC title will get them in the CFB playoffs....I'll take that right now.

It will be a very good defense because there is just too much talent, but not the same type of defense they've had in recent years. FSU returns their entire team basically. There is a big difference between FSU last year and Clemson this year. Last year FSU underachieved and got their butts handed to them. This year Clemson would have to overacheive IMO to beat Louisville.

Brother there are 5 power conferences. And 4 playoff spots. If you don't think Alabama's gettin in with 2 losses (1 to the possible ACC Champ) and an SEC title then we will have to agree to disagree. The Big 12 is down and so is the Pac 12. There is no way the committee passes on the SEC champ Bama.

PAC 12 down? Laughable. A 10-2 Bama with zero big wins on their schedule is not getting in.

Name those PAC 12 juggernauts that you speak of. Also a 10-2 SEC Champ would have to beat at least 3 to 4 top 25 teams. I suspect some Bama hate here. It would be hard to keep any 10-2 SEC champ out....especially a team with the pedigree as Bama

Give me USC, Washington, and Stanford over Bama and the 2nd and 3rd best SEC schools that's for sure.
