As a part of the celebration of the Bengal's 50th year of existence, the organization is having fans vote on a "First 50" team of the 50 greatest past Bengals players. The voting period has officially ended, but I thought it might be fun to discuss who you'd pick by position.

Given the percent of defensive backs from the total pool of players to choose from, plus their impact on the team's performance, you should be able to pick 7 DBs and still keep a fairly even distribution from among other positions.

You can check out the players in the link and look at some basic info on their individual careers with the team. Bengals First 50

Pretty easy to pick 4 or 5 guys... 7 is tough imo

I agree Footmaster. Parrish,Riley,Casanova,Fulcher, all easy. Probably Breeden, then E.T. next group. Darryl Williams was solid, and underrated, imo. The rest...... it's a pick 'em of who might be your favorite. Noticed,no Neal Craig. He was a pretty good strong safety, who played with Parrish,Riley, and Casanova.

I can't believe the substitute teacher Kevin Kaesvehorn is even on this list. Just goes to show the Bengals in their history have never really been known for their defense until more recently.

How does Lewis Billups even make the list?????

Billups, should be on a list. The 49er's!!!! He helped them win a super bowl!!!! ...lol!!
