Cordia - Open (Rumor)

Wireman
in KY Boys Basketball (High School)

Featured Replies

I heard this morning that Cordia's coach stepped down to take another job. I don't know the source all that well so thought I would ask on here. Is Cordia open or just another mountain basketball rumor?

Have heard that he is at Hazard as an assistant. Also heard that it probably won't be long until Rhodes is back Coaching the Lions

Coach Hurt has taken an assistants job at Hazard. That is confirmed. Not sure on anything else.

Well if he has taken a job at Hazard, the Cordia job has to be open I guess.

Does that mean Hurt was forced out? Doesnt make sense for him to leave a head coaching gig at Cordia (where he played) to become an assistant.

Jerry Stacy has been named HC at Cordia. No previous head coaching experience at the high school level.
