All tickets are General Admission

Everyone over the age of 6 needs a ticket to get in

Which begs the question why is the 35th not playing the finals till saturday? I know HC/BW played last night but what pushed it out? Was girls in the same location?

My guess would be because the games were played at HC which has a small gym and could not handle the fans for 4 teams in one night so they split it up. Not fair to have one team play back to back is my assumption.

Girls and Boys from what I was led to believe, can't play in different gyms on the same night at the same time during the District tourney. Thus the Girls playing at Beechwood with a small gym could only play one game per night and they played Monday, Tuesday and Friday. The Boys playing at Holy Cross again in a small gym couldn't handle two games in one night thus Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Not the first time this has happened if memory service me correctly, it used to happen in the 36th District at times as well.

Just my opinion but that district should consider making Holmes the host gym and allow the teams who would normally take the gate, run it. Sure it's been discussed but it would seem to make it fair for all teams involved, girls and boys, and an easy fix. I get that teams want to play in their home floor if they are the host but it's a little unfair for one team to have an extra days rest and preparation.

Again, no dog in the fight but seems easily fixable if there is a site that could hold the capacity.

Some teams also get an extra night's rest in regions if they play quarter finals wed vs thurs. These young kids are resilient and their bodies recover quickly (unlike mine). Plus, part of the beauty of these tournaments is how well the coaches use their bench and manage substitutions.

Again, I could care less as I stated I have no dog in the fight. I suggested Holmes simply because they are in that district and the field house gym can hold the attendees. If there was a neutral school that was willing to do it then that would be an option as well.
