Bath County really has a chance to finish .500 in Bart Williams' first season. That's impressive.

Augusta up one with steal and layup under 10. Mitchell scores in a a wild finish for the last of his game high 21. Panthers can't get off desperation shot to fall to 11-13 on the season. 4/16 (think I heard this postgame stat) from FT line was a killer.

tough loss for the home team, FT's killed them, but Coach Willams and the Bath program is showing promise. He's done a nice job of mixing in a strong sophomore group in with the veterans, and even though it's been a bit of a rollercoaster - the improvement is obvious. Rough loss recently with a knee injury to one of the key sophomores but future is bright.

Coach Williams has done a great job. He has a chance to finish at .500 this season and get to the regional. He has a wealth of talent returning the next 2-3 seasons with the size and the skills to win a district or 2 and make some noise in the region. His sophomores won back to back OVC middle school titles. Good guy for the school as well as he is a big supporter of the other sports, especially football and baseball.

Bath County has more wins this season than they did the past two seasons combined. Great job by Coach Williams.

Would have loved to had him several years ago. Program would have been much, much different.

Sorry for incorrect stat call on Panther's FTs. Final number was 7/15, but, still the major factor in this seesaw game that Augusta led precariously for most of game. Panthers disappointed to let this winnable game get away.
