Super Bowl Food...?

Featured Replies

I made queso dip, my dad made buffalo chicken dip, and my brother did some homemade skyline chili for coneys. The ladies did the cleanup, several beers consumed and I'm the only one who had to work today.

Came a little late. But a really good and easy sweet thing to make for a group is good old Oreo cookies and cream.

1 8oz cream Cheese

1 small instant vanilla pudding

1 8oz Cool Whip

1 cup sugar

1 pack oreo cookies

Directions:

1) Prepare the vanilla pudding per the instructions and let it set up.

2) Set the Cool Whip out so it will soften a bit.

2) In a large bowl cream together the sugar and cream cheese. Whip it up until it is really smooth and creamy.

3) Add the pudding to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.

4) Add the Cool Whip and mix well.

5) Crumble up 2/3 of a pack of Oreo cookies and fold them into the mix.

6) Garnish the top with the remaining Oreos crumble or whole doesn't matter.

7) Best if refrigerated for a couple of hours before serving.

Went with a dozen Gold star cheese coneys!

The spread at the party was amazing as always.

Hanky pankies, nacho dips, a shrimp dip, smoked chicken wings, someone made BBQ out of pork, basic chips and dip (simple, but one of my favs since the Mrs. doesn't keep it at home.) gumbo, etc..

There was also another table for sweets!!

We had Sun Valley pizza, garlic bread and a salad for the Super Bowl and my leftover pizza better be in the refrigerator when I get home today!

We had meatballs, cheeseball, bagel dip, buffalo chicken bites, buffalo chicken dip, jalapeno chicken dip, deviled eggs, chips, pretzels, some homemade wings, bdubs boneless wings, guacomole dip, salami rolls, and pigs in a blanket at our spread....Oh and one of my friends brought a crap ton of McDonald's chicken nuggets. :lol2:

Sent the kid off to his youth group Superbowl party and at halftime made sea food nachos.

Layer a generous portion of tortilla chips on a plate, place Kroger brand fake crab meat on chips (other brands have tasted too fishy for me), layer on shredded colby or provolone or your favorite cheese, and sprinkle with paprika. Heat in microwave until cheese is melted. Dip covered tortilla chip in sour cream. Serve with Ale8 One and you have a very satisfying appetizer. Tastes similar to the seafood nachos from Chi Chi's restaurant.

Yeah, this is way late but you can use this the next time you want a good snack or appetizer.
