You did not, but CardsRule did in the 2nd post on this topic which is what I was not agreeing with. I quoted your post in my initial response that may have left you the impression I was suggesting you did. Sorry and I agree it is a very good team for typical CAL with a great chance to get out of the district with Ballard, Eastern, & KCD. I think they have the chance to be a very good team if they catch fire and close out with a string of victories over some of the best teams on their schedule.

Perplexed?? I guess you haven't followed CAL this year? Third best record in the 7th region. Lost by 8 to Ballard. I would say they are top 5 in a VERY good region. I wouldn't say Spencer is "supposed to be a top 5 team" They should be the fifth best team in the region. Would you please name a team that should take their spot besides Oldham, South Oldham, Collins, and maybe Walton Verona (haven't seen them play)? I am perplexed by your perplexion (is that a word?)

 

If using your "Lost to Ballard by 8" then you should also use beat some horrible teams (Iroquois team by 3, Jeffersontown team by 7, & Even KCD by 1 which is first game so I can understand a little).

 

I can understand game match-ups can be tricky for different teams but you are putting Spencer on a higher mountain than they deserve at this time.

Putting them on a "Higher mountain than they deserve"?? I said they were the 5th best team in the region. Name a team that should take their place at number 5??? Also, you left out the good wins by Spencer-Desales, AT Anderson County. If you lose by single digits to the top three teams in the region I would say you aren't far off, but that's just me.
