Adding in the OLBs only Denzil Ware is below 6'3 (he's 6'2). With the vast majority being 6'4+. Which is irrelevant because Horton isn't a OLB prospect.

Kentucky not offering had nothing to do with where Horton is from. He just doesn't have the height they want. I think the data shows that.

With that said, Kentucky has been one of the weakest DLine units in the SEC during this timeframe and at times atrocious against the run: height or not Horton can play.

 

Just the sad fact of the matter is a recruiter isn't willing to risk it on a guy that doesn't fit the measurement molds out of pads.

Ray has been possibly one of my all time favorite players in Belfry History and I hope he dominates at my alma mater for years to come

Anyone know what his wingspan is? I'd say that's the biggest hindrance to his game and the next level.

First congrats. I hope this beast of a player makes everyone regret not going after him. I really think that its cool he is going to a place, to play with a former teammate.

 

Really would have loved seeing him play in the Big Ten.
