January 20, 20179 yr There's a group of Henderson students (elementary, middle, and high school) that went to DC this week for the inauguration. This trip happens every year there is an inauguration. A friend of mine has a son that went and she just posted on facebook that her son called and said they couldn't get in to the inauguration due to protesters. That's really sad. Selfish idiots robbing our youth of an opportunity to witness history.

A few kids from Somerset High and their teacher were interviewed on ABC this morning...they made it in.
January 20, 20179 yr That's really sad. Selfish idiots robbing our youth of an opportunity to witness history.I sounds like they probably didn't plan very well either by not getting there earlier. But to be fair, the same guy that heads up this trip has done so for 20 years or more. I'm sure he just followed the same plan they have in past years and didn't expect it to be an issue.
