I would have loved to have gotten the victory but I left this game encouraged. Our Big 3 are proving to be consistent scorers which is a must for Boyle County. Boyle County led 39-29 at the half and Pulaski County went on a big run in the third quarter and took control of the game then. It was 56-54 Pulaski County after three quarters. It was back and forth for a while to start the fourth quarter and Pulaski County was up 69-66 when Boyle County had a chance to cut it to one or tie the game but couldn't convert on the offensive end. Pulaski County scored to make it 71-66 and I believe that was the closest Boyle County got the rest of the game. Sucks to lose but I see the growth in the team. I'll take it.

Will Imfeld had one of his best games of the year. Grant Hotchkiss and Dylan Frederick played good off of the bench. Boyle County desperately needs Will Bramel in the post offensively and defensively. He makes a difference when on the court.

Strong perfomances by Treyvon Sylvester and Steven Fitzgerald. Boyle County had no answer for Sylvester down low. Boyle County's two post players committed a combined 9 fouls tying to guard him. Also shout out to Landon Powell for his second half shooting from three and the free throw line. Danny Butt had 7 turnovers in the first half and only 1 in the second half. I think that made a major difference for Pulaski County and one of the main reasons they had a strong second half and won the game.

I understand what you are trying to say here, but eliminating turnovers is what prevents you from losing not helps you to win. Not turning the ball over is table stakes, not the catalyst for a strong 2nd half. I would say the monster game from Sylvester and 26 from Fitzgerald was the major difference for Pulaski. Butt is a great HS player capable of being a difference maker, but suggesting his ability to cut down on his turnovers was the difference maker seems sort of odd for me to read, but I was not there to get that perspective.

Great effort by Boyle. I thought Adams has a good game plan. Pulaski will be a very tough out in the post season. Boyle must find a way to keep Bramel on the floor. Kid can't catch a break from the refs. Kudos to Frederick for playing his butt off.

Boyle went on a 22-2 run to close out the half and even though Boyle played great during that stretch....Pulaski played awful. I'm certain there was a "come to Jesus" moment in the Pulaski locker room during halftime.

He was running the point for Pulaski County as Colton Fraley did not play at all last night. He initiated the offense every possession. He had 7 turnovers in the first half and all of them were passes that were picked off and became layups/possessions for Boyle County. At the half Boyle County was up 39-29. In the second half he had 1 turnover and was much more careful with the ball. No points off turnovers for Boyle County and Pulaski County scored on those possessions instead of Boyle County scoring off of their turnovers. Pulaski County wins by 9. If Butt had 7 more turnovers in the second half Boyle County wins by 10 easily.
