January 2, 20179 yr Anyone feel like the bowl games after the CFP just seem unimportant? The playoff games need to be after all the bowl games IMO. Usually I would be pumped for Penn State and USC in the Rose Bowl but after the semifinals it just doesn't seem as big of a deal (probably because my team got waxed, but still). The Rose Bowl is greatest bowl game there is and it just seems dimished since it is after the playoff games. The Orange Bowl seemed a lot more meaningful the other night because the semifinals hadn't happened yet. Anyone else feel the same way?
January 2, 20179 yr The Rose Bowl will probably never be moved from New Year's Day, hence the semis will always be before it in years it does not host. Next year's is Rose and Sugar. 2018 is on 12/29 and 2019 is 12/28. They aren't on NYE again until 2021.

January 2, 20179 yr Author To me the NY6 games need to be on NYE and NYD. Then the playoffs on January 2nd. It should be this way every year to have the most buildup to the playoffs and then you don't have a situation where this year you have some seemingly meaningless games between the semifinals and the NC game.
