Howard Stern Show Regular Dies

Featured Replies

It's different now than it was then.

Been listening to Stern since he was in DC. And the show has matured quite a bit, but it's always been great. I'm betting most that continue to call his show garbage have never given it a real honest listen.

First of all, the Stern Show is probably the most well produced radio show that you could ever find. Second of all, the curse is pretty simple... every time they take a week or two off...someone dies. It's pretty bizarre and has been going on for 5-6 years.

I use to be a fan but the last few years and even more so when Artie left the show has become pretty bad.

I've listened for 15-20 years. I don't listen as much even when I renewed by Sirus in September. Sometimes it's enjoyable but overall I feel the entertainement value has gone down. He just isn't as edgy and much more PC.

I'm still entertained. While he still has some really lowbrow stuff, it's not as sophomoric and dirty as he used to be. I really enjoy his interviews and how he interacts with his guests. There's just enough low brow stuff to appeal to my immature side, while throwing in more intelligent stuff. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Artie years, and that was probably my favorite period of the show.

I still enjoy the show but my favorite era was when Artie was on the show. They are missing that comedic element
