10th Region 2007

Not entirely sure about if any other coach heard that. But when the fan said it I thought it was totally inappropriate. QUOTE]

It sure got the 3rd base coaches attention. I thought it was GREAT and totally appropriate! All Harrison had heard all year was how good Scott was and why was the game cancelled earlier in the year, etc. etc. etc. If you are gonna talk the talk, you must be able to walk the walk. Whether Scott can do that in the 10th Region is yet to be seen. One thing for sure, when tournament time rolls around it is hard to find anything more exciting than 10th Region Baseball.

How can you say Brossart probably isnt as good as Harrison Clark and Bourban when they return basically their whole lineup and have 3 really good starters who can pitch with anyone. I know you are probably going by last year against Bourban and yes our pitcher got rocked and he is one back but this staff isn't one that most people want to play come tourney time.

I am not saying they are better, but I know that Allison, Whitaker, and Farris can win championships. They are the type of coaches that can win games for teams. I have been around 10th Region baseball for a while now and Clark and Harrison have been the powerhouses and as long as their coaches are still there they have the upperhand. As for Bourbon, their coach has been around the game a while and won many games. Another coach that knows how to win is coach Howard @ Pendleton. He won some big ones while he was down at Harlan. If some baseball talent comes through Falmouth like they have had in basketball here recently, the Wildcats could continue to be a regular in the 10th region tourney! Nothing against NKY 10th Region but the championships usually end up in the Southern part of the 10th Region when it comes to baseball.

Earlier that year it was totally the opposite when Scott played HC in the McDonald's classic. Scott beat HC pretty handily and they didn't choose to brag or mock HC. I guarantee this year if Scott and HC beet up in the up in the Regional Tournament, Scott will beat them..... easily

 Believe me, I am as far away from a Harrison fan as it gets, but as long as they are on top, as they are right now, no one in the region can talk smack about beating them, until they do. Scott has proved absolutely nothing in the 10th region thus far, and until they do, they can't talk smack, especially to the breds. How can you make a prediction this far in advance??

Scott's gotta make it there first. I think Brossart will be at the top this year with Harrison and Bourbon.
