A quick moving weather system will push through the region this morning. With temperatures near freezing, a wintry mix of rain, freezing rain, and snow will be possible across southern Indiana and far northern Kentucky this morning. At this time, the best chances for a wintry mix will be in areas north of Interstate 64 in southern Indiana. In areas along and south of the Ohio River, light rain is expected, though a brief mix of freezing rain may occur before temperatures rise well above freezing. The wintry mix may result in some negative travel impacts in southern Indiana north of the I-64 corridor. Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destination this morning.
