Lafayette Football Player Swung At Official After State Game

Off topic sort of but worthy to note. Mayfield played @ #1 Class AA Union City, TN last Friday night and they used 8 officials. It was a big atmosphere with 2 teams from similar size towns 30 minutes apart and both teams highly ranked. Official attendance over 5,000. Often times these out of state games bring out the worst and I applaud TN for nipping it in the bud on the front end. Could this have made a difference in the T-Lafayette Game?

When Trinity played at Ensworth last year and Brentwood Academy the year before they used 7 officials.
