East Carter goes down by Russell 63-48

That's a little surprising to me. I thought East was the class of the 16th.

Looks like it could be a three team race in the 16th. Russell's the defending champs and return all five starters from last year. East Carter might have the highest ceiling with Mayo, Hall, and Brainard. And Boyd County impressed me a lot the other night, beating Russell at Russell.

 

Ashland's gotten off to a bit of a rough start, including a 35 point loss to Boyd County. But, they have the best individual player in Mykassa Robinson. She's capable of carrying Ashland to victory on any given night. So, I can't write the Kittens off yet, especially this early.

 

It should be very exciting and competitive at the top of the 16th this season.

East is pretty weak they've only got them 4 seniors with the experience. After that you go to the bench he only played 3 other kids. I've seen some on the bench that has played over the years and it's beyond me why he doesn't go to the bench deeper.
