It seems like Beechwood and Covington Holy Cross are going to have to carry the NKY flag the rest of the way. What are the chances a State Championship belongs to NKY in 2016?

It seems the battle will be uphill with Beechwood possible facing the #1 team in the future and Holy Cross having to fight the Mayfield battle.

Could 2016 be without a championship for NKY?

The only one that could have a yes/no.

Yes. They could be shut out.

Yeah, I think so

But, Beechwood has what it takes to go on a run and win it all- 50%

HC, well they have two beasts that could run wild over a few teams--so I would rate them a punchers chance- 15%

I think Beechwood wins it.

I could agree with that

If Holy Cross wins the next game.....I could see them winning it all even vs Mayfield, they are fairly big and those backs......

Certainly didn't expect Ryle and Cov Cath to lose tonight

HC may beat Danville, Mayfield, if they beat CAL, is another level of good. CAL would not be a cake walk either. They'd be underdogs against either. But you play the game and just never know.

Not surprised by either. These are really good teams where home field seemed to make a difference. Scott Co andFC are quality teams.
