I was not at this game, so I do not yet have all the details, but the Eagles somehow rallied from 36-14 down in the 4th quarter to win it and get back to the region championship game.

It looked like it wasn't until the fourth quarter from the updates I was receiving. I think the Eagles forced either three or four turnovers in the fourth quarter. I couldn't believe it as the updates were coming in. Just crazy.

I thought they would be pretty solid but there line isn't what it was. But it seems there improving.

Eagles forced 4 fourth-quarter turnovers and scored on each of them. Crazy game for sure, especially after I saw the details. Bethlehem got a rush TD following an INT to tie it, then got a scoop-and-score for the game-winner.

Sounds like 3 qtrs of the dreaded BYE weak blahs.

I saw on the Listserv their coach is retiring. The AD mentioned they were in the process of building a new facility. What can you tell us about that? The only time I've ever seen a game at Bethlehem it was behind a church (Catholic, I'm guessing). Is that still the case?

Lally Field is located behind St. Monica Catholic Church on S. Third St. in Bardstown, a few blocks away from the actual school.

 

Bethlehem is in the early stages of an all-sports complex out on Ky. 245, which is on the way out of town going toward Bernheim Forest and I-65. Not sure what their target date is for completion.

 

As it stands now, Bethlehem plays its basketball, volleyball and archery at the gym on the school campus. Baseball is played at Dean Watts Park across town, which is our youth sports park. Football, soccer and softball are played behind St. Monica, while tennis uses the Bardstown HS facilities.
