Good point. And I think with the proliferation of bad NFL games on TV, the answer to why the NFL is down might be what you just said and has nothing to with the anthem issue.

 

Could very well be.

The NBA audience in general would more than likely agree than an NFL audience.

 

Don't worry with the Cowboys and Raiders being relevant again, they will be flexed into Prime Time and ratings will shoot up. You know the Bucs/Falcons do not draw anyone but their and hard core NFL fans. Raiders and Cowboys have two of the top 5 fan bases in the country with the Pats, Steelers and Packers. Giants and Eagles not far behind.
