November 8, 20169 yr See, if folks are settling for lesser of two evils like I described in a previous post, what does that say about us as a country? Well, it is the hand we are dealt. I, for one, am not going to place the blame for how ugly we all have become toward eacheck other at the feet of anyone other than ourselves. Regardless of who is in office, we all deserve to be treated respectfully as individuals. I'm done even replying to the posters who name call, pigeon hole, condescend. WE have the CHOICE to be respectful toward one another and respectful of one another's opinions. So, regardless of the result tomorrow, how we continue going forward is within our own power to shape. I'm just hoping my ignore list doesn't grow.

You're right. We are going to get the President we deserve, not the one we need. The one we need did not make it on the ballot.

That is a VERY limited way of looking at it. 9 % of people out of the 50% that are registered either Dem or Republican. The Independents couldn't vote in primaries. Couldn't get their candidates to the debates due to the committee. It isn't just on US. It is a rigged system. My only hope is that the ground swelling for Independent Candidates leads them to unify to represent the 80% of the country not on the far to extreme left or right. As this group of millenials grows, you will see the cry for more options grow. It is up to the Independents to unify. In that manner, it is on US.
