BEST QBS IN NKY?

Featured Replies

It funny that just about every team has the best QB..."hands down". Like sticky said, there are a lot of good QB's in NKY this year, and everyone brings a certain skill to their teams. So all this "next question", and "no better QB in NKY" is going a little overboard IMO.

I don't see "a lot of good QB's" in NKY right now...

It's early, but I'd have to agree with you G/T.

Have to agree, unless the area's defination of good has become watered down in the last five or so years.

Jefferson, Holmes-great athlete, as a quarterback he'd make a really good wide receiver.

Hesch, Newport-had some great receivers around him until this year. Didn't account for a touchdown against NewCath or Dayton.

Boone and Highlands have very good athletes who are both underclassmen playing QB, both should get better. Lloyd is in the same boat, though the kid at Lloyd may be less athletic than the other two, and more of drop back passer type. Bricking at Dixie is still inconsistent. Bleser at CovCath has great toys to play with, but he needs to get them the ball.

The guys I've liked so far though include Elliott at Beechwood. I think he'll be the best quarterback in NKY next year. I think Elbert from Simon Kenton owns that distinction this season.

I dont care what anyone says Joe Holtzhapel (spelling?) from Ryle has the biggest heart in all of NKY

wow thats a pretty big statment, how can you say he as any more heart than any other qb in the area. every kid gives all his heart to play on friday nights.

Totally agree.

Right now very bad year for passing QB's in NKY.

Most of the QB's would be considered "running" QB's and not pure passers.

No idea who has completed the most passes or has the most yards but that isn't always a good indication of "best QB" because you have to measure that against turnovers and the team just not scoring.
