Don't get too excited footballforever the SK JV have some very nice talent but the Birds were missing a couple key Sophs, 1 Jr who are now strictly Varsity and they also played 10 freshman a lot of minutes in the game today. JV games are for development and that was clearly evident in the lack of urgency by the Birds coaches in the 2nd half once they were down by 20.

They did play very well today, SArgent is a very good RB. Shifty, fast and avoids taking big hits. He carried them all day especially when their QB went down in the 4th. The SK QB is very fast and was running the ball very well most of the game.

Congrats to the Pioneers and best of luck in 6A going forward.

You realize most of SKs back ups played last night for 3 quarters.

What does that mean?

It means the majority were juniors and Srs who dont play at SK.

It means mostly Sophomores played.

So those sophomores that got in the varsity game didn't play in the jv game? Not sure what you're saying.

Oy vey can it ever be 1 team beat another team when it comes to Highlands or SK?

Really just means the JV season is over.

Yes, happened at the Frosh level this season. Highlands beat them twice via the shutout. I think the combined scores were 40+ to zero. Neither game was close.

It's just conversation with our lil buddy during this week of boring first round games.

Sergent is really good. When given chances he has done well at the varsity level. I'm unsure why he doesn't get more opportunities on varsity. I believe he should be relied on more.
