*Before I talk about this game, I am NOT blaming the outcome on the refs. MC's defense could not stop Tates Creeks running game, but the penalties were ridiculous. Tates Creek had one penalty with a 25 yard run being called back. MC was called for at least 12 penalties, had to be for over 100 yards. The holding call in the 2nd OT killed the Indians.

Tates Creek dominated time of posession. They had long drives that they cashed in on. Sparks had a good night, he scored both touchdowns in the OT's but #40 was TC's stud tonight. You would think MC would figure out how to stop a fullback dive, obviously they are missing something there.

The Indian offense looked good once again tonight. They scored on almost every posession. They had a good mix of the run and pass game. Ricky Rhodes scored on two long TD receptions and had two TD runs as well.

The Indian defense better shore up their front seven if they want to win anymore games this year. It is very demorilizing to watch a team get 5 or 6 yards inside the tackles every play. I thought MC would struggle with this, but not that bad. Dunbar did the same thing last week but couldn't finsih it off like Creek could.

Both teams played hard and will be right in the mix for their respective district titles. I hope this quiets down some of the hype about the Indians and they finally start playing some physical defense.

Guess the Creekers didn't get the memo that Madison Central was a top-five team — or was that poll assembled hastily?

Crow, never tasted so sweet!! I was an all-state lineman at TC, and seeing them win, and play hard like they did last night, makes me proud!!!

BTW--Mad. Central is still a very good team, just young upfront, also, a lot of the teams that were supposedly top 10 4A teams have already lost, so the answer to your question is NO, my thoughts on MC were well thought out and based on sound reasoning. MC could have won this game.

That was a MC fan poll after beating PLD for the first time in like 4 or 5 tries. I knew they definately were not even close to Henry Clay. Creek is also apparently better. That 1 win over Dunbar had MC fans thinking that they were on the boat with X, T, Male, Highlands, etc. Rude awakening

I don't think there were any MC fans on here saying anything about being on the same level as the above mentioned. In fact, I can only think of a couple MC followers on BGP, most of the people talking about MC and rankings were neutral observers. MC has the potential to be good this year, but it is still early. Both of MC's wins were over teams that aren't very good this year, their only loss has been in double OT. They could easily be 3-0 right now. Maybe you don't like MC or something but you should get your facts straight.

As to being on the same level as X, T, Male, and Highlands: can you name a team in Lexington that is?
