Bishop Brossart 1 Campbell County 0 (PK/Shootout)

Featured Replies

I agree. As I sat watching the Brossart - Bourbon County game last night, a CC parent sat down a few seats away. Very disappointing to hear and watch him cheer for Bourbon County to win.

What is amazing is, that while there is much animosity among Brossart and Campbell County parents (and in this case posters), the kids get along just fine.

I was not going to get involved until you mentioned the AD and accused him of doing things that simply did not happen. My husband recorded the game and the celebration on the field and after I saw this post, I looked at the recording 3 times. Our AD did not lead the charge onto the field with the students. He did not jump up and down on the field with the students. AFTER the student celebration, he was walking across the field to the opposite sideline and some of the students gave him high fives when they passed him when they were making their way back to the stands. Our AD continued walking over to the sidelines where the players were standing. THIS is what happened.

By the way, I saw several CCHS parents and players that I know at the game last night. I wished them luck in their game and wished them luck in the rest of the regional tournament. Yes, my daughter plays for BBHS but I also root for CCHS (well - not when we are playing each other!) I am happy for CCHS when they do well - when any of OUR teams from Alexandria do well, it is a nice reflection on OUR schools and OUR community!!!

Ahhh the power of video; reducing a man's credibility. :)

It seemed to me that our AD "rushing the field" would be something totally, completely, irrevocably out of character for him. I too was at the game, albeit in the pressbox, and watched our student section join the ladies on the field, and am almost positive that I would have known it if Kevin would have done something so incredulously against his nature.

Well, lets see at the game last night, the talk from the Brossart Student Section was talking about it too. They said it was so great that he went on to the field with them when they rushed it. So, I guess the video recorder was not strong enough to see it.

I know what I saw as I was standing along the fence, and I also know what I heard last night at the game.

Maybe some of the kids are fine with each other, but not all. But, you can be friends off the field, but when you step on the field, you put your gloves on.

He stormed the field with the students jumping up and down giving high fives. He is somewhat an embarrassment to the school and the other AD from other schools.

Not as embarrassing as these posts.

Just stop! What ever your beef, no one cares but you.

And when you get in the internet you weight those gloves. People need to get over themselves.

Sounds like somebody needs to change their screen-name to CALL IT LIKE I DON'T KNOW.

Sorry if I offended the Brossart Fans, but it seems they can post anything about anyone they want. At the beginning of this Blog, talking about Campbell players tweeting, it seems that when someone talks about their teams they cannot take it.

Call it like I know it.

Your bs was called out last year. You had claimed a Brossart player was allowed back in game with concussion because dad pushed his weight around as a councilman. CC trainer stepped up and said your claim was totally false. But did you come back on and apologize? No.. And Now this one..... totally bad mouthing an AD at an institution that you have absolutely no clue about.... Where once again is totally false...

......

I will agree with you on the last part of your post...that when these two schools compete against each other then you can throw their records out the window...that said though it seems to spill over to Twitter and BGP for some reason...

I'll just leave it at this and then you can have your response...I dont think you offended any Brossart fans. Nachos-guy (whom I'm not sure is a Brossart fan or just a NKy fan) stated about the inappropriate Twitter posts against a Brossart player. If you have a daughter on the team, check them out and see what started it.

I will come to the defense (as i have in the past even for a lot of CC players) of people who post inappropriate things on here about individual kids or undermine the accomplishments of a team just because my team lost. If "my" team lost, then i try to congratulate the other team because I do have friends on the other team.

Ok, i'm over it. As usual, these BB-CC threads get away from the actual game and turn into what it is today...all because of a handful of posters...

No bigger Camel fan than I - but i dont like picky posts on something like an AD high fiving players for a win.... im more focused our Camels still playing in the 10th Region!

Good luck to the Lady Camels!
