The last time all 9th region matches were held at one site was 2012.

Matches were played at St Henry on a Sunday, Tuesday, Friday format.

10/14: 1:00; 3:00; 5:00; 9:00

10/16: 5:30; 7:30

10/19: 7:30

I would be in favor of going back to this type of format.

Never on Sunday.......you "heathen" .... YC, you more than anyone needs the prayers of forgiveness for the prior weeks transgressions..... :)

For your comments to the ref's alone, would make one's knees hurt for penance required for forgiveness..... :jump:

I see two problems with this. I believe Boone Co BOE does not allow their schools to play on Sundays.

Bad situation if the four games on Sunday are canceled to due weather delay, and more likely if scheduled on a natural turf field. This causes a scramble to get them rescheduled on Monday or Tuesday, and then what, use multiple fields? Almost impossible to play four games on one day, at one venue on a Monday-Friday.

Field usage, and lack of available field time at the 3 or 4 schools able to host regional has caused the first round regional games to be played on home sites.
