I heard that EJ best player got hurt in the first game season ending injury, a kid they say that would have signed with maybe an OVC school. ILB AND RB and EJ starting TB and CB did not play.

I'd say the season has been a disappointment so far Mercer. What happened to all the elite talent that had great camp circuits?

Disappointing loss for Mercer County. East Jessamine was the more physical team and they won the battle in the trenches last night. Too many mental mistakes, turnovers and inconsistency on offense for Mercer County to win this game. They no longer control their own fate and need some help from district opponents to have some favorable playoff matchups.

This seems like it will be a tight district again. Taylor County, Mercer County, and EJ look to have awful close games.

Have not seen EJ play but heard from a friend they are not a bad team. Heard Taylor Co. is pretty good. Saw Mercer play once and thought they were pretty dang good.
